What is STORYLAND?
STORYLAND meets children where they are in their reading level, so it becomes their “happy place.” Kids know that they belong, and they are loved and not limited. STORYLAND is a space where kids read, discover, share, write, create, learn and have fun.

What Makes Us Unique?
Our Bronx children receive red-carpet treatment, literally! They are greeted with a smile and applause. They are invited to discover books, authors, and meet exemplary guests that relate to them.
Curated Content:
We carefully curate collections of books reflecting the diverse cultural backgrounds of the Bronx community, ensuring that every child sees themselves represented in the stories they read.
Attractive Space:
Our space is clean, well-ventilated and safe with living-room-style lounges and various reading and activity areas. Parents can drop in to read with their children outside of the CLASS TRIP schedule.
Signature Programs:
Our CLASS TRIP enables schools to come to STORYLAND for a structured experience which can include mindful movement, meeting the author, reading, themed activities and lunch. Our TODDLER READ & RAVE, is another fun opportunity for young readers. We have open reading time with parents, themed events, and book launches.
